This document provides essential instructions and safety warnings that must be adhered to when using the North American Charging Standard (NACS) Adapter.

WARNING

When the adapter overheats, the charging current is reduced or completely cut off:

1) The charging current is reduced when the adapter’s internal temperature reaches the primary over-temperature threshold.

2) If the internal temperature continues to rise after the initial over-temperature condition, the current is completely cut off.

 

WARNING : Read this document before using the NACS adapter, failure to follow the instructions or warnings in this document may result in fire, electric shock, serious injury or death.

 

WARNING : The NACS adapter is designed for vehicle charging only. Do not use it for other purposes or with unauthorized vehicles or objects.

 

WARNING : Do not use the NACS adapter if it is defective, cracked, worn, damaged or inoperable.

 

WARNING : Do not open, disassemble, repair, alter, or modify the NACS adapter. It is not user-serviceable.

 

WARNING : Do not disconnect the NACS adapter or charge connector while the vehicle is charging.

 

WARNING : Ensure the NACS adapter is removed after charging is completed and before operating the vehicle.

 

WARNING : Always protect the NACS adapter from moisture, water and foreign substances. Do not use it if it appears damaged or corroded.

 

WARNING : Do not touch the terminals of the NACS adapter with sharp metal objects such as wires, tools, or needles.

 

WARNING : Avoid damaging the NACS adapter with sharp objects.

 

WARNING : Do not put foreign substances into any part of the NACS adapter.

 

WARNING : Ensure that charging connectors, cables, and the NACS adapter do not obstruct pedestrians, vehicles, or other objects.

 

WARNING : Using the NACS adapter may affect or damage nearby electronic medical devices. Consult your medical device manufacturer to confirm its compatibility before using the NACS adapter.

 

WARNING : Do not use detergent to clean the NACS adapter.

 

WARNING : Always connect the adapter to the charging connector first, then to the vehicle. When disconnecting, reverse the order.

 

WARNING : The NACS adapter is not compatible with slow charging connectors.

 

WARNING : Only use the NACS adapter with chargers and vehicles rated for the voltage and current specified on the adapter. Using it with non-original products may result in safety hazards such as fire, burns, or high voltage exposure due to charging interruptions or current/voltage overload.

 

WARNING : Do not insert your fingers into the adapter

PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE:

- Designed exclusively for KIA CCS1 vehicles.

- Follow the proper connection and disconnection procedures as        outlined in the user manual.

- Do not disconnect the adapter while charging.

- Keep the adapter away from water and moisture.

- Use within the temperature range of -22°F to 122°F.

- Handle with care and store in a safe location.

- Avoid cleaning with detergent.

- Do not attempt to open or modify the adapter.

NOTE
Verify that the NACS Nozzle Level DC Charger supports CCS1 charging.

WARNING

Do not store the NACS to CCS1 Adapter outside the temperature range of -40°F to 185°F.

HOW TO USE

CAUTION

Always inspect the NACS Adapter for any damage before each use.

※ Charging times may vary depending on the power and current available from the charging station, as well as other factors.

※ Charge time is also influenced by ambient temperature and the temperature of the vehicle’s battery.

  How to Connect

🅐 Press the NACS latch button and  🅑 connect the NACS Nozzle Level DC Charger.

Open the EV port and  🅐 plug in the NACS adapter to engage a pin that locks the adapter in place

Begin charging following the station guidelines.

 How to disconnect 

01

Stop the charging session using the vehicle’s touchscreen, the mobile app, or charging station. Unlock the vehicle’s charging port.

When charging completes, 🅐 Press the CCS1 latch button and 

🅑 pull the adapter from the port

🅐 Press the NACS latch button and 🅑 detach the NACS Nozzle Level DC Charger. Return the charging coupler to its dock on the charging station

Store the NACS Adapter in your cargo area or glove box for future use.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your vehicle does not charge while using the NACS Adapter, kindly check the display on your vehicle for any error messages or additional information.We also recommend verifying the status of the charging station.

ARSN USA warrants that the NACS to CCS1 Adapter will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and according to ARSN USA’s published guidelines, for a period of three years from the date of receipt. To obtain warranty service, a valid KUS order number is required. This warranty is available only to consumers and does not extend to retailers. For any warranty issues, please contact us at support@arsnusa.com.
This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, attachment of unauthorized accessories, alterations to the product, improper installation, unauthorized repairs or modifications, dropping the product, missing keys, failure to perform recommended maintenance, theft, neglect, liquid contact, fire, vandalism, environmental conditions, normal wear and tear, or any other conditions beyond the control of ARSN USA.

1. Send a return request email to support@arsnusa.com.

Be sure to include your name, delivery address, phone number, and order number.
2. You will receive a reply with your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a return label.
3. Return the item in its original box.
4. Once ARSN USA receives the returned item, we will send you a replacement product.
